01Apple Health data
With your permission, Dayfarer reads step count and walking or running distance from Apple Health. The app uses that information on your device to suggest and track a daily goal, calculate streaks and medals, and advance your selected Journey.
Dayfarer does not send Apple Health data to the developer, RevenueCat, advertisers, or analytics services. Dayfarer does not write data to Apple Health. You can deny or revoke Health access at any time in iOS Settings.
02Information stored on your device
Dayfarer stores the information needed for the product to work, including your goal, daily activity summaries, rest days, streak and medal state, Journey progress, unlocked Postcards, notification preferences, and onboarding state. This information remains in the app’s local storage on your iPhone.
Deleting Dayfarer removes its local app data. Data already held in Apple Health is managed separately by Apple and by you through the Health app.
03Purchases and subscription status
Apple processes App Store purchases. Dayfarer uses RevenueCat to check subscription access and restore purchases. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app customer identifier, product and purchase history, entitlement status, and the technical information needed to provide that service. Dayfarer never includes Apple Health data in information sent to RevenueCat.
Apple and RevenueCat process information under their own privacy terms.
04Analytics, advertising, and tracking
The current Dayfarer release does not transmit product analytics, contains no advertising, and does not track you across apps or websites. Dayfarer has no social features and does not sell personal information.
05Notifications
If you allow notifications, Dayfarer schedules them locally on your device. The notification text avoids step totals, distances, streak lengths, and other health-derived figures on the lock screen.
06Retention and choices
Dayfarer retains local information until you remove it or delete the app. Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase records according to their own legal and operational requirements. You can revoke Health or notification permission in iOS Settings and manage App Store subscriptions through your Apple Account.
07Changes to this policy
If Dayfarer’s data practices change, this policy and the disclosures shown in the app and App Store Connect will be updated before the changed behavior is released.
